James O'Flynn

James began his career with Quayside as a Junior Analyst, developing a strong grounding in investment analysis, research, and operational processes. His analytical insight and collaborative approach quickly made him a valued member of the team.

He later joined Amundi Asset Management as an Investment Risk Manager, where he gained extensive experience in portfolio risk assessment, regulatory reporting, and investment governance across institutional portfolios. This broadened his perspective on risk management and operational best practice within large-scale investment environments.

James returned to Quayside as Investment and Operations Manager, where he now leads the team of analysts and plays a central role in shaping the firm’s investment and operational strategies. His focus is on strengthening analytical capabilities, ensuring robust operational standards, and supporting the delivery of consistent, long-term investment outcomes.

James holds a degree in Finance from Maynooth University.
